Launched the SG–New Zealand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) with PM @chrisluxonmp —a major milestone as we mark 60 years of friendship. The CSP sets out a bold roadmap for the next decade, covering trade, sustainability, innovation, security, and people-to-people ties.

At the Auckland War Memorial Museum today, I paid tribute to NZ soldiers, including those who defended Singapore in WWII. Honoured to meet veterans who served in SG from the 1960s–80s. A reminder of our enduring friendship — one we must always cherish and strengthen.

I welcome the first phase of an agreement that will bring about a ceasefire in Gaza and the release of all hostages. It is a meaningful first step towards peace, and we hope a final agreement can be reached soon.

Great meeting Governor-General Sam Mostyn in Canberra. We discussed the SG-AUS Comprehensive Strategic Partnership 2.0, creating economic opportunities and equipping our societies to face modern day challenges, and enjoyed a tour of Government House with some friendly kangaroos!

Had a fruitful discussion with Australian Leader of the Opposition @sussanley. SG values the bipartisan support for the 🇸🇬-🇦🇺 Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) over the past decade. Glad to reaffirm support for the bilateral relationship & our newly launched CSP 2.0.

Laying a wreath at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra - I was moved to see the names of young Australian soldiers who gave their lives in past campaigns, including those who defended Singapore in WW2.

CSP 2.0 will strengthen cooperation in defence, supply chain resilience, green and digital economies, food security, renewable energy, and innovation. It also provides a platform for deeper regional engagement, especially with ASEAN partners, to unlock new growth opportunities.

I had an excellent meeting with Australian PM @AlboMP. We launched the upgrade of the Australia–Singapore Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP). I look forward to working closely with PM Albanese and his team to take our trusted partnership to even greater heights. 🇦🇺🇸🇬

Wrapped up the Sydney leg of my Australia visit. Had a good exchange at the Lowy Institute with Michael Fullilove and business leaders on global trends, trade, clean energy, and the digital economy. Next stop, Canberra.
