3 years ago “We listened”. Then we got into power, shafted businesses (& in turn our high streets) with massive tax rises, and wrote a leaflet (in crayon) entitled ‘Labour saves small business, The End”. This lying, PR-obsessed Govt is an embarrassment & an absolute disgrace.
Small businesses are the beating heart of our high streets, our communities, and our economy. When I said we’d back them all the way, I meant it. Promise made. Promise delivered.

If Labour doesn’t change Chancellor & ride back on the National Insurance contributions hike, we could see Hospitality collapse within 18 months. Only the wealthy owners & Big corporations will be able to ride this out. Literally no one is hiring, most are cutting shifts & staff
