This makes us sad. So many good things for #ridewithaview started at @1ookmumnohands, from our @bffworld adventures to meeting @jetmcdonald. Let's hope this isn't the end and turns out just to be a pause.

I want to do more touring, but my wheels are flexing under load, so I'm looking to either build or buy some strong wheels. Normal QR, 11spd SRAM, 6-bolt disc, 32 or 36h. I just can't seem to find anything that fits the bill - even at higher prices. Is it possible for ~£350?

After more than a year riding 40c super-nobbly off road tyres, switching to slicks (even 30c slicks), I felt like a rocket yesterday. The constant stopping because I was convinced I had a puncture didn't help though.

*sigh* Clearly these punctures are the result of a defect in the tyre. I must return them to the shop immediately. (actual story a bike shop mechanic told me)
