seems a real shame to just send them for recycling/pulping. Does anyone have any suggestions of someone who might want them whether to read or get creative with?

and i'm just so tired of it all that I'm going to take a Twitter break and remove the app from my phone. I'm hoping that by just living my life I can be refreshed and maybe try twitter again later in 2021.

Happy New Year. Good luck to everyone for 2021. No matter who I choose to follow I can't seem to avoid Brexit or Covid. So many people seem angry about anything and everything and are unable to just live their life. Tolerance for fellow humankind seems at an all time low

Reminded this morning of the genius of the Simpsons in 1998 being way ahead of time. Now a massive UK problem on our roads.

Dear #WhiskySanta, please may you put @glenfarclas 1958 Family Cask #2065 from @MasterofMalt under my tree? I've been really good this year!

Poor decision by @Morrisons @MorrisonsNews to open their stores on Boxing Day. Regardless of the extra hard work their staff have had to do throughout the pandemic, there is just no need for their stores to open and staff to work on the 26th.

What utter bollocks! So the UK will deploy first, only because the government need to rush it through before Brexit. The Tory party don't even have the good grace to acknowledge the fact it is a world wide project and this first vaccine comes from Germany via Belgium.
The UK was the first country to sign a deal with Pfizer/BioNTech - now we will be the first to deploy their vaccine To everyone involved in this breakthrough: thank you In years to come, we will remember this moment as the day the UK led humanity’s charge against this disease

Car insurance companies... A required insurance where the duty of utmost good faith only seems to apply to the customer.

Have loved watching Ineos at this Giro (aside from G having to pull out). It's been fantastic to see @swiftybswift back on form and while I questioned taking on Rohan Dennis he has shown exactly why he is so good and why Sky wanted him inside the tent rather than outside 🤣.

Happened to pass by (😉 - that's what I told my wife) @KingsbarnsDist so stopped in for a bottle of Dream to Dram. Also bought an @GlencairnGlass as there isn't anything decent at the cottage to drink from - really disappointing finish with clouding at dram level, very strange.

Staying within Covid regs we've made it up to Fife for a half-term holiday. A new part of Scotland for me and I'm looking forward to exploring. A nice start to the week with a trip to Anstruther for deep fried haggis, chips, bread & butter and a cup of tea. Win!

I love little anecdotes like this.
January 2010. Team Sky launch, London. A 14y/o boy asks for a photo and tells me he had just won a competition. He is so proud to be able to join Team Sky on a ride through the center of London. October 2020. The same boy has become a 25y/o man and wins the @giroditalia.

So here's a shocker, @DHLParcelUK deliver my parcel to someone that isn't me but don't tell me where I might find it. Have to go through @dhlexpressuk to find right handle to tweet/DM as they don't get concept of phone. No response to DM to help find it. Why am I not surprised?!

More fabulous work from the Edale MR team.
Incident 129 Owler Tor 20/10/20 A group heard whimpering sounds from a narrow crevasse. Further investigation found a dog that had been missing since the weekend. One of our smaller, slimmer team members accessed the dog and retrieved it to safety. https://t.co/Ghzwimeo8k

Being a Saturday night I decided I could allow myself two drams. I picked the Bunna first. In hindsight it was an error because it has smashed the Glenfiddich out of the park. @davidjbrodie 👏 to your team on this one. Stunning and one I'm gutted not to have a full bottle of.
