St Abbs, Eyemouth, Scotland. The only shop in this harbour village. The Post Office. Closes this week, 16th, due to retirement. Even the sign has seen the ravages of the North Sea. The George V mail box has faired better and given a coat of red and gold paint. 📮 #postboxsaturday

Haddington, Scotland. This enormous tree. Thought it must be centuries old. Trunk circumference massive. Then this sign slowly being enveloped by the tree revealed all. A Giant Redwood. Planted on 22.06.1897. Many centuries to go before it even reaches maturity. It will be huge.

entire road closed off for last 10 days for works. Much quieter and no speeding cars and reduced fumes. Now I know why so many @LambethLabour Councillors love living in their LTN and can see why it can boost property values. Unfortunately the road reopens soon.

Hi @tfl what is going on with Vauxhall Bridge? Monday evening it took 70 minutes to drive from Victoria to the start of the bridge. A few hundred yards. Got a taxi over on 28th May. It cost £20 to travel same distance. Couldn’t get out as bags and too congested. It is a mess.

Over the last 3 weeks massive branches have fallen from 3 trees in Brockwell Park. What is being done to identify trees at risk and maintain public safety. There is currently no zones or signage on any tree in the park. @lambeth_council @brixtonbuzz @Lambethgp

Hi @Brockwell_Hall is it not possible to get the water running in Brockwell Park ponds. It is getting stagnant and starting to smell unpleasant. There is also a bird carcass, near the bridge at top pond, that needs removing.

hi @Se_Railway only one of your tap in/out points is working at Herne Hill. If that one also fails it is a nightmare trying to get any overpayment refunded. Can they be fixed please.

the great Oak in Brockwell Park has lost another major limb. c.2010 one removed as dangerous. 2019 one split and fell, turned into sculpture. 2025 another split and fallen major branch. Rotten core. Tree around 600-700 years old. @brixtonbuzz
