Last night we hosted our annual meeting where our active retired members join us for a meal. Local 1491 just celebrated our 60th anniversary and last night we recognized Bob Walton for being an active and engaged Local 1491 member for over 55 years!

Graduated from the academy in July and was killed yesterday while doing his job. Rest easy brother.
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Firefighter Rodney Pitts. Rodney succumbed to injuries sustained on yesterday’s fire in the 5200 Blk of Linden Heights Ave. Rodney graduated the Baltimore City Fire Academy in July.
