I think, in the short term, we could a) re-open the IHAP non statutory family reunification scheme for Afghans b) expedite any FR applications involving Afghans c) offer to resettle humanitarian workers/persons associated with government & US d)take part in any EU redistribution
Very welcome statement by @simoncoveney on @morningireland stating that Ireland will resettle 150 humanitarian workers from Afghanistan. We can and must do more, expanded family reunification and, a humanitarian visa programme are urgently needed. #AfghanFamilyReunification
