As holiday travel picks up, we have heard reports of travelers being detained by DHS. If you are a NY-14 constituent worried about detention, consider filling out an ICE privacy release form. This form allows my office to contact ICE on your behalf ⬇️

Because of the Trump administration's cuts to SNAP, families are struggling to put food on the table. While we are incredibly grateful for our community partners, their work is not a replacement for our social safety net. We will continue fighting to restore SNAP benefits. (2/2)

This weekend, I joined @GrowNYC, Throggs Neck Community Alliance, and volunteers for a food distribution in Throggs Neck. We distributed 1,500 pounds of fresh produce, halal turkeys, and chicken to over 350 community members ahead of Thanksgiving.(1/2)

The Trump Administration has the power to fund SNAP in November, but is refusing to use it, choosing instead to starve seniors, veterans, and children. I proudly joined my New York colleagues in urging @USDA to exercise its legal authority and ensure SNAP benefits are funded.

The Penn Station Access project will shorten commute times and offer new routes to critical access points for everyday working people. @RepRitchie and I are urging Amtrak to ensure that the project is delivered on time and not delayed to 2030.

Trump’s decision to block food assistance for 3 million New Yorkers is cruel and unlawful. Today, I joined my NY colleagues to demand this administration stop playing politics with people's lives and use its authority to fund SNAP in November.

The Trump administration has a rainy day fund that will keep SNAP from expiring in November. Trump is refusing to use it. Funding SNAP isn't a choice he can make. It's a legal obligation. @USDA must release the funds and stop punishing the American people.
