“If the library system closes, the American Library Association (ALA) says it would be the first time a public library were to close because its governing body wanted to avoid complying with a court order to stop censoring books.” . This would be a terrifying precedent to set.
A federal judge ruled against a book ban in Llano, TX. Now, local officials are discussing shutting down the public library system entirely.
