Next year is huge for DSA, and we need National Electoral Commission leadership that is committed to mass politics and grounded in real organizing to win BIG for socialism 🌹 Vote Groundwork for NEC Steering to build the party, elect socialist cadre, and win at all levels! 🪴

We knocked 35,000 doors with the help of 200+ volunteers, and outraised th field with $247K – even despite facing wealthy and well-connected opposition. It’s time for a new chapter, Atlanta! Together, we can win an Atlanta that works for the 99%, not the billionaires.

I’m so grateful to every volunteer, donor, endorsing organization, and voter who supported us in this race. When working people organize and come together, we can beat the establishment.

Our campaign proudly championed housing justice, Beltline Rail, workers’ rights and more, and didn’t shy away from taking clear, progressive stances. This is why we won.

Right now, our city has the highest wealth gap in the nation, the cost of housing is through the roof, and we’re decades behind on public transit. It’s clear the status quo isn’t working – and District 2 voters showed this last night.

Atlanta, we did it! 🎉 Last night, our grassroots campaign won in a landslide, with 64% of the vote in a crowded field. I’m so proud to become the first Democratic Socialist elected to Atlanta City Council, and to win with the backing of such a broad progressive coalition of

Hm. I think DSA, as a membership organization that is funded by member dues and seeks to be a mass party, will never be a functional conduit for mutual aid because that is simply not how we generally spend money and other organizations designed for this will always do it better.

If there's going to be rule by caucuses and their activist-leaders instead of rule by the whole membership directly, we absolutely need rules that govern how caucuses can function relative to DSA -- especially internal campaign finance rules!!

Hey, @PayPal, care to explain to me why you're forcing me to fall for a false payment scam? These are literally the only options I'm given to resolve the case. There's no way to contest the veracity of this.

We are living through the biggest political crisis in modern US history. In Chicago at the DSA Convention, we will have a short window of time to discuss key political and strategic questions facing our org. 1/2

🗳️ Changing national DSA into a democratically run, mass party requires a radical redistribution of Member Power: from the few at the top, to the many at the bottom. Learn how in the first in a series of articles on our 1 Member, 1 Vote resolutions: https://t.co/LeWRsZhe6D

This has been a body representing tendencies across the organization managing to work together to produce something we can all be proud of. We’ve shown that while DSA is a profoundly politically contentious space, we can find common ground and do what’s best for the organization.

Last night, the Democracy Commission voted to approve our omnibus of proposals for the 2025 convention. This has been the result of many meetings, phone calls, so much research, and a lot of compromise from all sides

To fight the very real and present threat of fascism, we need mass politics. Groundwork strongly supports the mass rallies and fresh political motion unlocked by Bernie Sanders and AOC in their Fighting Oligarchy tour 1/4
