THIS!!! so so true. Will make it so much easier for teachers and students! I used maths textbooks in India all my schooling and I cannot tell you how easy it was to go back to the worked examples and understand what was going on when I was absent from school or did not understand
Controversial teacher opinion: Every primary student should have a maths textbook. It should be low variance, with built in review, worked examples and faded guidance. Comment why I’m wrong or share if you agree.

That part of the term break when you switch off 43 alarms on your phone which remind you to send students for everything from choir to special learning time to medication to check if they have their glasses on to check if they ate their lunch 😂😂😂😂 #teacherlife

What a fabulous post! I get laughed at when I ask about students being 3 minutes late after break time...but add 3 minutes every break every day and it's a LOT over a year!
NEW POST: Instructional time is precious. We need to teach like every minute matters... ... because they do! https://t.co/q3Zvmwoipn

As a teacher I have 10 active alarms through the day from sending students to the tier 2 instruction hub to sending them for medication to checking if they have had their lunch as mum worries about a boy not eating! Don't tell me teachers are not working against time, literally!!

My 10yo has just learnt 'Happy Birthday' on the saxophone and now is playing it to her 17yo sister on her birthday nonstop. The 17yo has said thank you 10 times and the 10yo is not stopping. This is hilarious!!! Bug your sister on her birthday with kindness😂😂😂😂😂 #Rsisms

This! So important...I am literally juggling time wondering do I let these four students miss out on Science/HASS so they get 30 mins of reading intervention :(
@dylanwiliam @RplusDyslexia @JamesAFurey One other major issue is time. Some MTSS blocks should be before and after school. Ss who really struggle need in addition to, not in leui of.

What a wonderful start to the term I had today! Never underestimate the power of structure, routines and high expectations everyday, everytime! #Edutwitter #Teacherlife #Kalatikka

Offered both my girls a second piece of chocolate and both of them very suspiciously asked me 'Why?' I mean a mum can be generous, eh?
