Under Donald Trump’s plan, Social Security would become insolvent in 6 years. Many seniors in our country rely on Social Security as their only form of income–to live, pay rent, and buy groceries. We must protect Social Security.

There are so many, like Alex, who fall in the sandwich generation: caring for their children while also caring for aging parents. It is nearly impossible to do both. My plan will allow Medicare to cover in-home health care to help families like Alex's.

Republicans and Democrats have come together, across the aisle, out of love of country—because we know what is at stake in terms of democracy and rule of law.
