Great recognition for Danica and Kris, for their fun podcast about how they got started in advocacy:
Great resources from the #devrel newsletter, as always. And a dream come true for me to be featured in it along with @krisajenkins! 🥑

Deep dives are always fun; this one by the person who was in the room from the start, probably at the head of the table. Will be a Netflix series next.

What I learned: Event streaming. API vs SQL contracts. Data as product. Alternative to central data warehouse. Microservices. Law of Demeter. ESBs. The Picard Maneuver.
Buzzword of the week is "Data Mesh", and I think this week's podcast guest @benstopford does an excellent job of explaining why it isn't *just* a buzzword - it's shift of mindset that puts data first. 😃 👂 : https://t.co/4CMm8ewlU3 👀 :

The "Endurance" endures, waiting for us to find it. Her captain, Ernest Shackleton, is mostly remembered not for discoveries but for leadership under duress. 100+ years later we're still in awe, it was that amazing. Which of today's "leaders" will be revered 100 years from now?
