@Swiggy @Swiggy neither displays any age restriction during signup nor prompts for parent consent but states that it can delete the account if it’s found that user is below 18. Grey area, might not be enforceable. @Swiggy might be breaching privacy law under DPDP Act, 2023 though. 4.

@Swiggy @Swiggy states that delivery partners may charge the users of platform but it’s misleading as it’s Swiggy which decides the delivery fee and have offering like Swiggy One or BLCK for free deliveries, on which PDPs have no say. 3.

Swiggy: Terms of use states installation or download of app puts user of device in contract with Swiggy and automatically signifies acceptance of T&C. Consent presumed via download is not valid consent and law requires a legally binding contract with valid consent. 2.

Indian e-commerce platforms are throwing whatever they can in the mixture of their one sided T&C that are barely enforceable and won’t hold in court. Should it be like this?. I’m starting a deep dive with @Swiggy, let’s see what have they added in T&C. 1.

Timeline on X is screwed with the current localisation. I am seeing irrelevant content by Indian accounts, which I have never shown interest in. All the tech accounts that should have been on timeline are filtered and it’s total garbage on screen.

I constantly get error from GPT 4O, during image generation that it can’t keep the original face. This reduced usability of OpenAI to only cartoonization as it can’t work with for human tasks, like background removal, headshot creation, pics merging etc.#GPT #image #Ghibli

@zomato @zomatocare Thikana (Hinjewadi) has clearly shown that they don't care about @zomato at all. They did not bother to pick up calls from @zomato @deepigoyal and the support executive was helpless. Such restaurants should be blacklisted from Zomato otherwise it seems Zomato is in mix with them.

@zomato 6/6 @zomatocare @zomato you need to fix this! Either ensure restaurants honor bookings or stop offering this half-baked reservation service. Customer trust isn't something you can just brush off with a "sorry" 🤷‍♂️.

@zomato 5/6 PSA: Think twice before making any restaurant reservations through Zomato. Their "booking service" is meaningless if restaurants can just deny you entry. Save yourself the embarrassment and time waste. #CustomerService #FoodApp #zomato.

4/6 Wait, it gets better. Zomato's solution? They just cancelled my reservation and said "sorry" - no compensation, no alternative options, nothing! Left high and dry on a dinner night. Thanks for nothing @zomato 👎

3/6 Contacted Zomato support right away. Their response? "Sorry, the restaurant isn't picking up our calls." Then dropped the bomb that their "reservations" are just for discounts, not actual table bookings! Why mislead customers? 🤔

2/6 The restaurant staff had the audacity to tell me "You paid Zomato, not us. Take it up with them." Completely unprofessional! Left standing there looking like a fool with my dinner plans ruined. 😤.

1/6 Heads up! Just had a terrible experience with a Zomato restaurant booking. Reached the restaurant (Thikana) on time for my reservation, only to be turned away at the door. Restaurant claimed they don't hold Zomato reservations at all! 🚫 #ZomatoFail.

It's sad to see such talent has to move out of India to thrive and gov of India isn't even remotely interested in addressing this issue. It would be shame if @AravSrinivas leaves citizenship of India for USA.
