I created Million Dollar Vectors to visualize vector embeddings and how they relate to each other. But I hope you find it as fun to explore as I do.

You can use Million Dollar Vectors to find companies that are close to each other semantically. We use cosine similarity in addition to LLMs under the hood to compare vectors, navigate and find what's nearby --- all things you would expect a map to do.

Think of UMAP like someone taking a giant, complicated map of a city—full of every tiny street, alleyway, and corner—and then redrawing it on a much smaller, simpler map. The smaller map doesn’t keep all the details, but it keeps the neighborhoods and their relationships intact.

Under the hood we use this fancy thing called UMAP for dimensionality reduction because it's great at preserving local and global structure for this kind of map.

When you buy a vector, it becomes an island on the map: we generate a unique tile image, position the island by meaning, and link back to your site. Your idea joins a living landscape that gets reprojected as more islands form.

We take these vectors, which are high-dimensional arrays, project them into 2D and place them on an interactive map where the neighbors share meaning. Basically, Google-Maps-for-ideas.

What’s a vector? Think semantic fingerprint of content which in technical terms is an AI embedding which captures meaning, not just appearance.
