Obstacles blocking the pavement are a nightmare for guide dog owners 🦮 Harry is a confident worker and expertly indicated that there was not enough room for both of us to pass so indicated that an off kerb obstacle was required @guidedogs | @guidedogsscot

So many amazing tunes bringing so many memories - a big part of the soundtrack of my teenage years! RIP.
Farewell Rick Davies, founding member of Supertramp. The singer, keyboardist and co-writer behind so many classics, including Breakfast in America, Dreamer and Bloody Well Right. Remembering Rick here in his prime, singing Goodbye Stranger. #RickDavies

Today is the birthday of a great young man called Gerard who I had the privilege to be “radio Mother” for due his young age but huge enthusiasm! I’ll always remember the live bungee jump where he managed not to swear on air! Best wishes!

Today I’m also remembering dear Howie Hughes who came in to do the regular news slot and ended remaining for hours bringing the news in a calm and clear way.

RIP.
Today we remember the 52 people who were killed, the people who were injured and affected, the heroes who helped and those who lost loved ones because of the terrible events twenty years ago on the 7th of July 2005 in London. #LondonBombings #NeverForget #7July

Happy 80th Birthday to Debbie Harry! In 1982 she spoke to Sue Lawley about Blondie, going into acting and whether or not she was the daughter of Marilyn Monroe!

As I always explain with a smile on my face - when you can't see, "here" is where your voice is and "there" is ANYWHERE in the universe. Words like on your right in 3 feet, or immediate on your left are bang on.
"Watch out" says the man on the train to the blind guy. Sorry I said, "I'm just on the hunt for a seat" I replied., man tuts and says "there's one over there". I know, I know, I simply need to try harder to learn to see. Lazy I know :).

This evening, thousands marched - silently - in memory of those who lost their lives in #Grenfell. Eight years on and no one has been held to account. We will not rest until those responsible - in corporations, local government and national government – are held accountable and
