Fired for cheating…. Looked at strike 3 to end a season once. Good for the Mets.
Mets officials have discussed the possibility of retiring Carlos Beltran's No. 15 this season if he's voted into the HOF. But logistically it might be a tough fit because the team already has a Mets HOF ceremony and 40th anniversary of '86 championship team planned.

The red challenge flag procedure is maybe the dumbest thing in all of sports. (Including the inept nhl) Coach is literally 6 inches away from a ref & he has to literally take a flag out, & drop it when he could literally just say... "I challenge" in a whisper... amazingly dumb.

The consistent/continual lack of effort & heart is what’s pathetic. All we fans ask is to play w/ passion & they don’t. - This is the Worst I’ve seen for any sports team in my lifetime. & our sample size is more than enough to call this a major problem w/ personnel/top to bottom.
To the people calling the #NYR pathetic. How about you’re pathetic. At least those athletes made it to the NHL while you sit in your mommy’s basement eating ding dongs watching the game
