October 13, 2016 was the day the Drug Enforcement Administration withdrew the Notice to schedule kratom's alkaloids because the DEA found the FDA had failed to meet its burden under the Controlled Substances Act for that recommended scheduling. That decision has saved many lives.

I don’t think VP Pence’s mansplaining and over-talking is doing a lot to narrow the gender gap, unless it is also turning off more men as well.

Trump never seems to express distress, sadness, or any other emotional reaction to the deaths of 64,000+ people. He never seems to extend any genuine desire to comfort. Other than his family--and himself, of course--I'm not sure he sees others as "real."
