Such a talented man who had great passion. Glad everyone in Edmonton was able to see his talents and love for sports and people on display through his work. Thoughts to all his family and friends.
My good friend John Sexsmith passed away peacefully this morning at the age of 63. His 14 year battle with cancer has been nothing short of courageous & inspirational to me. But he was a great family guy, community leader, friend & broadcaster. Big hugs to both Joanne & Joel.💔

Vanni Sartini has been fired by the Whitecaps. Sounds like the hope was to do better this year, get to a new level, extended playoff run. Vanni's passion and enthusiasm will be missed. He was a friend of the show.

As a grade 12 student at AOB Highschool I was task with picking up John and bringing him to our school to MC an event. A fan of his show I was so nervous , he couldn’t have been kinder and more encouraging to me as I hoped for the same career path in sports. Legend. RIPJohn
