I tried beating him without quickfire and throw weapons, because somehow it gives him a chance to combo. I used the spirit regen charm and the Father's charm with bounty master armor. Dual katana only. And lots of patience.

Storywise, Tsushima hit harder. But all the other aspects I'll go with Yotei 100%. They made repetitive progress "work" more exciting by adding some sort of situational variety. Combat is crazy good. Side quests after side quests opens the whole map organically.

Played like 4 hours of ghost of yotei today. The game is aggresively mid. Story is alright, nothing outstanding so far. Average revenge plot. The combat wants to be a duel, where you are able to strike, block and parry, and can learn even more things thoughtout the game. You
