silent hill puzzles aren't smarter they just force you to think so far outside the box you forget the box ever existed. and then they hit you in the head with it just for fun.

NOT because the puzzles are really incredible mind you. some of them are. most of them are good, some are amazing, a few are just convoluted and nonsensical for the sake of it. love it so much <3.

it's because they're big silent hill fans and og silent hill puzzles are designed specifically to piss you off. any game you play after sh3 hard puzzle difficulty is preschool stuff in comparison.
for as much as we joke about their gaming skills, hearing from and watching other gamers who play ppt3 (which has more puzzles than the other chapters) makes me realize they’re actually like,, really good at the puzzles. we never clock it but like they really are.
