I'm excited to announce that I'm taking the #EndPeriodPlastic campaign on tour to Europe next week!🗺️ I'll be getting together with NGOs, doing campaign outreach to raise awareness, and I'm stoked to reveal that I'll be meeting not one, but two supermarkets overseas!⚡️

Education around periods is necessary to teach young people about their menstrual cycles, menstrual hygiene, periods products etc. This also needs to include educating men and young boys about periods.

Some cultures view menstruation as 'impure' and 'unclean', which leads to feelings of shame and humiliation. As a society, we need to ensure that we use our platforms and voices to speak up for those who cannot.

Stigma and taboo surrounding periods, is very much still an issue around the world. Many girls in developing countries skip school because of fear of leaking. Stigma is also present in ethnic communities, where the topic of periods is a conversation had behind closed doors.🩸
