Tropical cyclones and heavy monsoon rains have resulted in devastating floods in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Thailand, with more than 1000 people killed. We are responding in the countries we work in, and our thoughts are with those affected. 💙

With misogyny on the rise, sometimes we can look at the world and think we're in the upside down. But we're fighting back. The plan is still on. Until we're all equal.

For years, girls have told us that the abuse they face online is constant. And while today’s proposals are a welcome step, we need this guidance to turn into enforceable action to protect girls. Girls deserve the right to access online spaces safely. https://t.co/fKyJ3VSxjm

The COP30 Gender Action Plan marks an important step forward for inclusive climate action, especially after attempts to weaken it. Girls and women bear the brunt of the climate crisis, and it’s encouraging to see states stepping up for #GenderEquality . #COP30

Child marriage IS a human rights issue ⚠️ It robs girls of their childhoods, forces them out of education, increases their risk of abuse and risk of having children while still children themselves. Share this post to show that child marriage is a human rights issue. 💪

Walk, hop, skip, run. These are some of the ways girls should be getting to school. But not every girl gets this opportunity. Many are forced to marry. Child marriage violates girls’ human rights. Together we can make a difference and help more girls go to school.

When it comes to fighting for gender equality it's important to know the lingo. What words would you add to the list?

Of course we've been told that gender equality only works in a dream world. But we're working hard on making it a reality. 💪 With activists like Cielo campaigning for girls' education, we will continue fighting for the rights of all girls and women until we're all equal.

We need to change course. The UK has made devastating cuts to international aid, at a time aid is needed urgently. Any more cuts will deepen the global displacement crisis, hitting girls and women the hardest. We can't turn away from those in need. https://t.co/gh8eXyxR1J

The £150m cut to the UK’s contribution to the Global Fund to Fight Aids, Tuberculosis and Malaria is a mistake, writes MP Fleur Anderson. But the upcoming Budget is a chance to change course

The crisis in #Sudan is catastrophic, with increasing reports of mass atrocities and staggering levels of malnutrition in displacement camps. Humanitarian aid must be allowed to quickly reach those in need. These devastating events cannot continue. https://t.co/pGDJZ1k74C

Every day, everywhere, girls' rights are under attack. And when one girl is pushed back, we all fall behind. We won't stand by and let progress on gender equality be reversed! Let's stand up and raise our voices. The plan is still on. Until we are all equal
