“Chefs are becoming more micro-regional, more hyper sensitive to regional “ ...”The future of food is attached to place - focused on flavour & stories” @DanBarber
"Today, the definition of a progressive restaurant is defined by how regional and distinct your menu is. A lot of things have changed in the last 20 years, and that’s the most exciting part about the future of food: local & regional ingredients and food production,"- @DanBarber

@RoisinGarvey @drivetimerte Well done. And Mary White was excellent. ‘We’re a political party, not an NGO’! Time to get on with it. The country needs a government.

Glad to voice my support for the #PfG on @drivetimerte and highlight the urgency to help tackle health, climate, biodiversity, economic emergencies. The PfG is good. Let’s roll up our sleeves, make sure our policies are implemented & get through the #legislation to do it! #Greens

For what it’s worth; not all farmers are opposed to the Green Party entering govt. As the daughter of a farmer who now calls himself an ‘environmental farmer’, I’m glad to report he’s delighted at the prospect. Many farmers are first & foremost environmentalists. #lazystereotype

The week ahead is a crucial one, for the Green Party and for the future of our country. We remain committed to achieving the best possible outcome, to securing a Green recovery for Ireland, and to engaging on all levels with our membership as this process reaches a conclusion.

Really looking forward to tomorrow at 10am to watch the film that myself, @maevestone and Alex Gill made together with 7 local children from Co.Clare. It's called My Nature and it would warm the cockles of your heart. ❤
Lovely *online* event as part of Cruinniú na nÓg tomorrow ... My Nature features West Clare kiddos who have created a short film about nature – what it means to them and their favourite parts of nature in their area. Kids aged 5 - 12. @jacintasheerin1

I agree absolutely about @EamonRyan - he is a thoroughly decent human being. We all make mistakes.
. @EamonRyan is one of the most decent, honourable, sincere politicians I know. Worked with him on broadcasting reform, social media regulation, renewable energy & many other issues. As has been said “it is the man in the arena..who errs..because there is no effort without error”

Well said @EamonRyan
"People are presenting all sorts of scare stories that the Greens are going to be bad for rural Ireland, bad for farming, bad for beef and dairy. I fundamentally disagree," says @EamonRyan, outlining how improving Irish farming will be central to meeting our climate challenge.

In 1997, then President of @LimerickChamber, Tadhg Kearney (@TKJewellers) proposed pedestrianising areas of the city centre and including cobbled surfaces, shrubbery and public seating. Mr Kearney was well-ahead of his time. @AilishDrake. Evening Herald, 4 November 1997.

In Copenhagen (which is wetter, on average, than Dublin) on-street parking is being converted into outdoor seating areas for cafés, bars and restaurants, to enable social distancing. #Covid19Ireland
