Since December 1, multiple MQ-4C Triton aircraft (169804, 169806, and 169659) have conducted at least eight reconnaissance missions in proximity to Mexico’s coasts. This composite image aggregates all recorded tracks from those flights through January 5 of this year.

There are so many spontaneous narcoblockades in numerous states spread throughout Mexico all at once that it seems like something major happened has happened. Just a note that most of these states have one major thing in common, they are occurring in areas w/ heavy CJNG control.

Cuban government officials announced wide ranging energy conservation measures due to the fuel shortage resulting from no supply arriving from Venezuela in almost 2 months. Measures announced include: -Fuel rationing in most sectors -End of diesel fuel sales -Curtailed

It appears that there is an ongoing SAR op off the coast of Baja California, Mexico. So far, two USAF HC-130Js from Davis-Monthan AFB have been assigned to the search.
