One of the essential parts of MLK’s legacy that we rarely speak about was his disability and mental health struggles since he was a child. MLK Day is a holiday to recognize #BlackDisabledHistory
#MLKDay I honor Dr. King for the man he was not soley for his achievements but his honesty about his own mental illness. King attempted suicide twice before age 13 due to depression. He became an activist cuz he felt ppl’s pain so deeply. Our heroes are human, not superhuman.

The podcasting industry is young and there's not much out there chronicling our historical events. But there are people doing the work behind the scenes. #BlackPodcastingHistory #BlackHistoryMonth

I’m tired of seeing normative (skinny, abled, fit etc) white bodies when I search images of #trans bodies. Is there something like a Google doc of resources for Black ppl who want #topsurgery? Jus askin for a friend. 🤫🤗 #TopSurgeryTooWhite maybe?

Sometimes I have to catch my breath and slow it down b/c I get so anxious seeing people walking around without masks. I always say: You don’t get it, until you get it. This pandemic plane of existence proves that to be chillingly true.

Bands are going back to IRL shows and while I completely understand that as a music industry kid, there should be virtual versions available IN ADDITION. More accessibility, and more ppl get to see you and pay you for your amazing work. Jus sayin.
