She’s afraid to say Covid, let alone its actual name, SARS-CoV-2.
In an alternate timeline where the CDC isn’t bought, we wouldn’t have been completely abandoned.

I definitely agree that this is cowardice on display. I just hate that we live in a country so overwhelmed by misinformation and disinformation that she has anything to fear by being honest in the first place. Trumpism is going to take decades to repair. I'm so sick of this crap.

"get tested" good luck, doctors aren't even testing for it unless you have a bad cough, sometimes even if you ask. they'll just decide it's probably not COVID. it makes me feel like they want us all to be very sick.

While the CDC communications have been so underwhelming, I think it’s unfair to slam her on the saying COVID part because as the link shows, she’s referring to the combo of respiratory diseases that are surging rn, no just COVID. So her phrasing here is more appropriate.

Well it is flu season. The flu, the common cold, and the pneumonia are circulating as well as Covid so…

At one point, I might have thought it was a misguided strategy based on flawed assumptions to equate Covid with flu and colds. However, now that they have seen the disastrous results and continue to double down, it seems obvious it’s by design. To what end, is the question.

guys, i’m not tryna be antivax…but when the cdc director can’t say the name of the virus that’s killed 27+MIL PEOPLE globally, but is PUSHING Pfizer vaccines still???? PLEASE see thru this and realize yes, the virus is real and these vaccines hurting us is also real 😰
