Portico at West End is situated at West End Primary School Ormskirk. We take children from 0 to 5. We have before and after school club as well as holiday club.

Preschool have been talking about space so we looked at the planets and how we could make them out of various messy play ingredients! “Look it sticks together I’ve made the big one” says K. We just love following the children’s interests! #WorldSpaceWeek2022 @SarahFilPortico

Pre-school are working together and problem solving to make our playdough. "We need water first" says K as he puts it into the bowl. "Let's pour it" says L as he picks up the flour. "It's too sticky we need more flour" says E as they mix it. @SarahFilPortico @PorticoNicole

It is lovely to see one of our holiday club children from @OrmsWestEndSch reading to the nursery children. They loved using cardboard to create a boat to sit in as they listened. The bond between the older and younger children is special! @PorticoNicole @KarenMBoardman @NDNAtalk

Portico Dental practice is busy this week! The children love checking their teeth and joining in this role play whilst learning about how to keep their teeth healthy and clean. We love reading 'Croc goes to the dentist'. "We have to brush them twice a day" says A. @PorticoNicole
