Symptoms of pre-eclampsia include: Severe headache Visual problems - seeing flashing lights Swelling of hands, face, feet Stomach pain Nausea and vomiting Call your midwife/healthcare provider right away and get your BP checked! #preeclampsia #bloodpressure #knowthesigns

Women being in research such as @thepoppystudy, can help to understand who is at risk of pre-eclampsia in pregnancy and the postpartum period #PostpartumPreeclampsia can happen to any woman who just had a baby. It most commonly occurs within the first 7 days after delivery
