yoru's arc is perfection for me, but asa its like that last bit is missing. if we had that moment of realization from asa in a more tangible way, i would love this ending so much more. but i cant help but have this bother me as a big asa fan

i just wish we had a FEW more chapters with this asa/yoru dynamic. verbally seeing asa internalize yoru's final words to relinquish her guilt would complete such an amazing 2 pronged character arc. its honestly so close to being perfect, 1 or 2 more chapters finishes it entirely

Since this banged im gonna use this opportunity to share my interpretation of how Yoru’s final conversation w Asa mirrors Makima’s conversation w Denji Denji was made to feel guilty so Makima could fully take control Yoru was relinquishing control, alleviating her guilt
Really saddens me that these panels just do not register to alot of people

honestly yea, ive come to love that sudden cold water splash over such a climactic moment. its something ive never really experienced before. fujimoto created an ending with an approach that is so interesting to me. i have some problems with it but still, i cant help but like it
チェンソーマンの最終回よかったなー。 グチャグチャドロドロの永遠に続くかと思われたバトルから、ぽっかり空いた落とし穴に落ちたかのような幸せ。今までのバトル漫画とは全く違う読後感で、最後まで唯一無二の作品だったな。

idk, i feel like this ending will age really well. the more time goes by i feel like it'll get more and more appreciation. and i say this as someone who has their own problems with it while still generally liking it.
