What gets me is that a disturbingly large segment of this fanbase is starting to sound more and more like they WANT Pope to fail just so they can say they were right...

I hope this team and Pope turn things around. Im am a huge supporter of Pope and this team and wont go all negative nancy through this trying time. But…… just remember when yall were trying to run Cal out of town, i tried to warn ya…. And i got news for you. No team will excel

It will never, EVER happen, but hypothetically - would Stoops be a good fit at Laurier? I think I remember that he was always a defensive minded coach and the Canadian game usually favours offenses.

Plot twist: Mark Stoops comes north of the border to be Laurier's new coach... imagine that...

So... who will Laurier's Will Stein be? Not that Faulds = Stoops (far from!), but we need a Stein-like hire.

Both coaches within a year of each other. I'm speechless. 🏈

Some people will have you believe that employers will refuse to hire you because of social media posts from when you were 13... even if you're nowhere close to the same person today

Let me ask this - would you take someone who you know is a better coach, BUT you also know they don't want to be here at all, and that they will bolt for their dream job as soon as it opens up? (Because this has happened to me before)

My list has always been: 1. Available 2. Actually wants to come to Kentucky Because let me tell you - I've dealt with coaches on my teams whose hearts were clearly elsewhere... and it wasn't fun. (Hi, John Farrell)

I also laugh at the people who wanted "someone, anyone" to replace Calipari. And were willing to give his replacement a period of time to figure things out.

I'm worried about who this fanbase thinks we'll get if he is fired. If Oats, Drew and others turned us down only 2 years ago, what will make fans think they'll be magically convinced this time? Plus, who's going to want to take a job where the leash is THAT short?

I (still) believe there is something going on in that locker room that we don't know about. Because how is Pope doing this with this year's roster after doing ... that ... with last year's?

I guess it's just not our year this year. Hoping we can finish strong and learn from this for next season.

I'd rather not see a woman injure her shoulders 7+ times.
