I’m once again reminding you that there’s a right way to move to a new place, and a wrong way… and you don’t get take backs, redos or do-overs if you screw up in a tight knit community or small town.
I live in the rural south, around actual Americans that are having their once tight knit communities torn apart by this exact kind of thing. This mercenary property over people attitude is leading to our destruction. It’s the same thing as the CCP buying farmland, just on a

I'm not great at math, but @Toyota unless it's got a bench in the front, this picture only holds 7 people. legally. (yes yes, I know it can come with a bench in the middle and hold 8. but the picture doesn't match the text!)

Seems disingenuous to phrase it this way @baptist_news. The linked article says that 16 leaders representing said churches signed the statement. Ten thousand churches signing something would be impressive. 16 leaders… doesn’t indicate nearly the same level of opposition.

I suppose one of the unintended side effects of always active AWD is that the average driver probably doesn’t really know when it’s actually doing anything for them. I know precisely when 4wd saves me in the Excursion, cause I always try before I get out and lock hubs 🤣.
@LeSabreFan @saveusculture Maybe a little, I think people vastly underestimate what a “normal” car can do, and overestimate what they need. I have a picture somewhere of my Chevy Cobalt covered in mud next to the sales guy’s pristine lifted 4wd truck that illustrates the idea pretty well 🤣.

Not made in Milwaukee (probably Akron) but we sure did lose some pretty stuff. BIG chest freezer with one of these bad boys slapped on the front. I have one that’s still running like a top. (Not white anymore, kinda rusty patina now 🤣)
Are you guys tired of talking about Milwaukee yet? . Do you understand the scope of the production capacity lost in this country? And the beauty that went with it.

It’s a great point, I remember cleaning deer by the light of my car, because flashlights at the time couldn’t compare. Now I’ve got a tiny headlamp that puts my car lights to shame.
@brndsil This is brilliant. It comes up often enough, particularly with the tech of micro LED's now. Everywhere the lights. It's to the point where I think people literally are - still - afraid of the dark, nighttime.
