“From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is a message of liberation. Meanwhile, state actors and state violence are explicitly exempt from Twitters violent speech policy. You’re allowed to cheer an ongoing genocide on Twitter but not to call for its end.
As I said earlier this week, “decolonization”, “from the river to the sea” and similar euphemisms necessarily imply genocide. Clear calls for extreme violence are against our terms of service and will result in suspension.

This is textbook genocide. Israeli government says they will make it impossible to live in Gaza: “there will only be destruction”. It’s not complicated. There’s no nuance here.

Not to mention that a lot of the weapons, training, intel, support are all provided by the US for said genocide. Free Palestine, end apartheid and genocide. For the US that starts with ending military and political support for an apartheid regime.
It is not an exaggeration to say the U.S. in enabling genocide right now. The United States cast the one and only vote against the UN Security Council resolution to call for just A PAUSE in fighting to allow for humanitarian aid in the Gaza Strip. That vote vetoed the resolution.
