We desperately need campaign reform in the political realm! Whether it is true or not, there looks to be many individuals, PACs, etc, trying to gain political favor in Texas.
Please explain to me why as a practicing physician, I cannot accept so much as a pen from a pharmaceutical COMPANY out of concern that it might adulterate or influence my decision-making, and yet politicians can take millions in campaign contributions from the same COMPANIES and.

We desperately need campaign finance reform. It is a terrible look for politicians. This is exactly why many people believe that they (regardless of which party) are bought and paid for.

If you can’t support public schools, that’s your right, but don’t run for the SBOE which deals with public schools and the children they educate!.
@hanes_tracy1776 Well, that was eye-opening. This amendment failed 9-6 among elected members of our Texas SBOE. Members whose sole job is students in PUBLIC schools. @AaronKinseyTX is my board member - shame on you.

School choice = vendor bills.
❌Government school choice programs are vendor bills. Vendors are cashing in on taxpayer dollars, using parents as the delivery mechanism to funnel public funds into their pockets. And who’s lobbying to expand these programs? The same vendors who stand to profit.
