Great way to end a brilliant (and rare) evening out in Birmingham. My next 3 trains cancelled, meaning I'm having to get a train to 3 towna away and then taxi it, which is going to cost a small fortune. God I loathe trains!!

"I'm going to say something newspaper editors rarely say - I don't know if we are getting it right." I just sent out this email to readers to offer some insight inside our newsroom during this World Cup. https://t.co/YQqMDEJdL5

If anyone ever questions the need for safe spaces for communities, the horrific events that happened this weekend in Colorado are just further proof of their importance. I'm so grateful for the folks at @ChanceCounters who have helped us create our own safe space in Birmingham

At the grand old age of 35, I've taken up crocheting in an attempt to chill out on an evening. By no means perfect, but rather pleased with this little square(?) tonight

Young emo Chris is so damn excited. Tomorrow night, after being re-scheduled for god knows how many times since 2020 (originally buying tickets in 2019), I finally get to see Evanescence with Within Temptation

Parents, is there a worse sound than that of a Lego box being emptied out on the bedroom floor? 🤦♂️

It was perfect! Absolutely perfect! No spoilers at all but Totoro and Catbus were more than I could have imagined. Hoping @totoro_show releases the music recording as the singer, Ai Ninomiya was sensational

Interval for @totoro_show. Truly spectacular show! Pure magic. And yes, I have cried. The music, the puppets, the set, the cast....perfect! Seeing my all time favourite childhood story on stage 😭

Out of office on. Trip to London tomorrow to see @totoro_show. This film means a whole lot to me and I can't promise I won't cry! So damn excited
We were excited to be featured on BBC News at 10pm this evening 🙌 📺 If you missed it, catch up here to find out more about the show: https://t.co/FTqEetE2I9 📸 Satsuki (Ami Okumura Jones), Mei (Mei Mac) and Granny (Jaqueline Tate). Photo by Manuel Harlan © RSC with Nippon TV

I realise people will think "How do you not know who your supplier is?" But I do. I pay British Gas and their engineers came out in 2018 to replace meters. I have the paperwork

Energy bill question, I've been trying to sort out our electricity. Lived in property since 2017. I've just been told by @BritishGas that we're with Octopus. I've never contacted @OctopusEnergy and don't have an account. Anyone heard of anything similar?

Heading to London next week with the kids to go to the theatre. Planning to drive, but thought I'd just see how much it would cost for train tickets. Over £600! And this includes a bus replacement service! What is the incentive to use public transport!
