Juiste beslissing door US regulator om .1/Geen bailout te voorzien voor SVB stock/bond holders.2/Backstop te voorzien voor SVB deposits.Indien laatste niet was gebeurd was schade niet te overzien. Zeker meer regulatie in de toekomst.

Showpad was klant bij Silicon Valley Bank. Begin 2022 naar andere bank overgestapt. In hindsight the right call. Whatever happens in the next couple of days #SVBCollapse zal serieuze scars nalaten in tech. Paar cruciale dagen voor startups en breder het ganse financiële systeem.

Projecten die “te complex” zijn worden opgelost door ambitieuze ondernemers, niet door een overheid die zelf een bedrijf opricht. Overheid moet vooral energie en middelen steken in juiste context en wegnemen van barrières voor ondernemers.
