My students counted the number of squares and made a discovery in finding the area of a rectangle and square ( A= base x height). I can't wait how far can their minds go once we get to the triangle, parallelogram and trapezoid! #buildingthinkingclassroom

#thinkfirst Students looked for patterns to complete the table and generate the ordered pairs. Ordered pairs were then plotted on the coordinate plane and compared the lines for multiplicative and additive relationships. It was a great day! #buildingthinkingclassroom
