I installed my first @helium hotspot yesterday in a local business, and it was VERY easy. I'm more boosted to get this thing off the ground than ever before! I'll install an outdoor hotspot at that same location in a few weeks. Will keep you posted!

Historically, these are Distributed Antenna System (DAS) deployments. DAS is also short for "a very expensive set of small cellular radios that also costs a boat load to install and maintain."

Nearly all airports outsource their mobile connectivity. If you're an AT&T sub waiting for your LAS flight at SFO, your phone will say AT&T but it's probably not connected to their towers. The radios are deployed by a vendor that has a deal with BWI and the carriers.
