Normally I see it as a positive that there are so many great books that I’ll never run out of new reading material but today that’s done a 180. Tried a half dozen books and as soon as I start I decide it’s not good enough to spend time on. Anyone ever experience this?

You can call this schlock if you want, but there are a handful of films that accomplish what they set out to do as perfectly as this one.

Great Southern noir story with Don Johnson stealing the show. The @joelansdale book is also a terrific read.
Tubi Noirvember Movie #10: Cold In July (2014) Director: Jim Mickle "When a father meets an ex-con, both need to deviate from the path they are on as they soon find themselves entangled in a downwards spiral of lies and violence while having to confront their own inner psyche."

I try to forewarn people, don’t be put off by the ten cents spent on production values, this is a terrific midnight movie with one of Linnea Quigley best roles.
This month's theme is, "Ha, ha, ha, ho, ho, ho, & a couple of drills & kills" and starting the month off with 1988's "Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-A-Rama" w/special guest @tip_sip_slash. Topics include voyeurism, 7 deadly sins, and the human psyche https://t.co/OOiQ9VorzF

A real pro with a wide range and a talent for picking good projects. Horror fans, stretch just a little and watch Sorcerer, you’ll be glad you did.

This world is an absolute shower of shit. If there’s something that brings you joy then embrace it with your whole heart. Who gives a fuck what some miserable cunt has to say? They’d probably be happier if they had some cool toys or comics.
Saw a post about someone cleaning their room that had a bunch of cute childhood memorabilia but the comments were really disgusting. Just full of ridicule and I’m over here wondering if that’s really what the general public thinks about us toy collectors… IM 20 AND I LOVE TOYS

Lynda Carter was one of my first crushes as Wonder Woman and I’m just so dang pleased she is an awesome person in real life as well
Hey! Calling all Wonder Women! We all are sisters…pulling together with one spirit. 50 years ago today the first episode of the series Wonder Woman aired. I truly believe the reason we liked her was because we recognized her within ourselves. The multifaceted parts of her

Loved this one for years. At points it’s so bad it’s good, at points it’s just straight up honestly cool. In a wiser world this would have kicked off a long running franchise.

I work 6 plus days a week about 10 hours a day on comics. Sometimes more, hardly ever less. I make less than almost all my friends not making comics-pay my own healthcare, have no company pension, but forever loyal to those I work for - and spend my money investing in my own
