Less than 24 hours until Open Day 21! The bunting's out & our volunteers are decorating our boathouse area, testing the PA system on loan from @sospartyfun, getting the gazebos out & folding up the raffle tickets for the big draw! It all starts tomorrow at 11am, come & join us!

Still awaiting for some sort of response from either @AskSmythsToys or @Hermesparcels of the whereabouts of my parcel which was apparently delivered! I still haven’t received it. Please can someone get back to me.

Yet again no delivery from @Hermesparcels what’s frustrating is the fact you can’t get to speak to an actual human person! Like to know where my parcel is please! 😖

What has happened to all the parcels that have apparently been delivered by @Hermesparcels to myself and several other people in Pett Level, all delivered at 16.07 too! Very strange! Obviously in some sort of twilight zone here!

Where’s my parcel? @Hermesparcels with you since 28th May and now says delivered! No way of getting through to anyone either. Never had a problem before our local delivery man Colin has definitely not delivered anything.

Just seen 12 people planning on having a picnic at the bottom of Toot Rock in Pett Level, they couldn’t go to the beach because it was swarming with police, coastguard and home office! 😞😔🙁

A sad day @pettlevel as @RotherDC councillors vote to close our only pub for ever and turn it into a doctors surgery! We thank the 2 councillors who supported the local community. #destroyvillagecommunities

Fire crews are battling a fire at the historic George Inn in Rye. Around 40 firefighters from Rye, Hastings, Broad Oak and Bexhill were called to the 18th century pub at around 4.40am. It’s understood the fire started on the ground floor. The High Street is closed to traffic.
