We finished up our latest read aloud, Once Upon a Tim by @AuthorStuGibbs! 10/10 recommend. Students slowly added to our book thinking map during our iCAN time & it’s finally finished. They love going back to revisit their contributions & retell the story! @canSTEM

I used my scholars favorite and most frequent 😂 science question-How many species of (insert animal) are there?-to practice comparative language in math today. They were super invested! Got ‘em! 😊 @canSTEM

We’ve learned about interdependence & now we’re researching & gathering data about what we’ll need to design a bug hotel for our garden at Cannon! My team has worked hard to make our last challenge of the year meaningful & tightly tied to our TEKS! ♥️🐞🪲🐝♥️ @canSTEM

We took a nature hunt around Cannon to do some field research on common insects found outside for our Bug Hotel Design Challenge. These little scientists took detailed notes of their observations in their design notebooks! @canSTEM
