@pete_wells An excellent article. I'd only add that as poor grad students in the late 90's my wife and I would forego lunch for weeks at a time to save up enough to enjoy dinner and one shared glass of wine at Blackbird. It was always amazing and totally worth it.

@pete_wells I had a very memorable meal there with my husband years ago. Because of how close the tables were, we met a lovely couple from Alaska. They showed us photos of the wildlife in their backyard. This is such a shame:-(
