Aeldari do think they’re better than humans and will push a Hivefleet at a human world to save an Aeldari one, but humans are out there preemptively genociding everyone else because their religion says “not human equals bad”.

Sometimes I suspect the “everyone is bad in WH40K” idea is linked to so many people seeming to only wanting to play Space Marines & only engaging with the Imperium. If you only look at the human factions, then yes everyone is equally bad.
