Mac infra is a tough beast. MacStadium figured it out, but didn’t go the extra mile of productizing it well. CI companies built on them with low margins, and now they are throwing money at building the whole vertical for them and increase margins. There are companies that are.

When developers think about productivity, optimizing builds is the first thing that comes to their minds, but eliminating flakiness is another piece that can have a significant impact if you have the right data.

Continuous Releasing in open source repos that are not that are that actively maintain is one of the best investments you can make. On merge, the necessity for release is determined, and then is done automatically.

The pattern of showing a read-only demo or having to contact sales to play with the tool is the worst that happened to the dev tooling ecosystem and we have to fight against it.

I tried focus modes on iOS a few times but it just doesn’t work for me. Once I build a mental model around where apps are located, designing different layouts for different modes makes confuses my brain.

Communities are amazing. We invested in making Tuist’s documentation site translatable, and the community showed up offering help to make our docs speak Chinese.

I admire @dhh’s conviction on his ideas and ability to move ecosystems in certain directions. It was impressive to see it unfolding in the Rails community and more recently in the context of Linux.

If you want to integrate Meta's idb into your Swift package, you can easily add it as a dependency using the XCFrameworks that we build and distribute through GitHub releases. Enjoy!.

I find it beautiful that the architecture of agentic solutions is trending towards the mental model and building blocks that Erlang proposed many years ago to make software easier to write and maintain. It was a matter of time….

We need more pedestrian streets in cities. This is a street from my neighbourhood in Berlin that got recently turned into a pedestrian area.

Tuist QA and Sign on the Fly are the first features that we are going to build upon @namespacelabs amazingly productized API for getting Mac runners. I believe if you combine a coding agent with a testing one and then automate the publishing of the app with others on the app.
