we said farewell to Y11 & Y13 in the most extraordinary circumstances I’ve ever known in school.Not knowing how or when they would learn the outcomes of their endeavours.They were awesome & took the day in their stride.Incredibly impressive

I’m not sure what has upset me most-the contents of this report or the fact that it has been held back for so long-it is criminal that this was not available during the recent pay negotiations and incomprehensible that it will not be available for the review body

What is absolutely intolerable is the collateral effect on neighbouring schools who suffer the consequences of this issue whilst the chains are hailed for ‘turning around’ behaviour when all they have done is move the challenge elsewhere
The number of GCSE students in England awarded top grades has almost returned to pre-pandemic levels.
