In the last day of March (also 3 month before defense): finishing the last page of first draft of thesis. What an amazing journey in the last three years…finally, it nearly comes to the end.

Thanks everyone who participated in fieldwork along newly added Gongga elevational transect @WangHanSci @LabPrentice @SandyHarrisonRe @Shengchao_Qiao @RunxiWANG_ @huiying_xu @peng_yunke @GiuliaMengoli Can’t wait for the fieldwork next year! 🙌
The China plant trait database version 2 just came out! It contains photosynthetic, stoichiometric, morphological and hydraulic traits from grassland☘️ to tropical forest🌳. Thanks to all the people who contributed to the fieldwork!

Our "10 questions with" interview series continues with Professor Iain Colin Prentice. "You can generally trust the data, but not necessarily the interpretation"

Second in our '10 Questions with..' series is Colin, co-lead PI of LEMONTREE. On his love of data, music, the quite life and being obstinate!

AVETH Diversity calls for more inclusive teaching at ETH. This is direct support for the Association of Chinese Students and Scholars in Zurich in response to a recent incident of racial insensitivity in the classroom at ETH. https://t.co/RQqaVBWiLN

Prof. Helbing apologizes for offending people; this was never his intention. His slide was supposed to make people think about inappropriate uses of algorithms. He understands now the presentation was insensitive and adapted it, so it can no longer give rise to false impressions.
