She did not survive until the day of freedom. 💔.
Over the last two days, Toki started exhibiting serious signs of discomfort, which her full Miami Seaquarium and Friends of Toki medical team began treating immediately and aggressively. Despite receiving the best possible medical care, she passed away Friday afternoon.

I had the privilege to dodge the killing smokes and see the amazing Rocky Mountains over the weekend. It was my first time seeing wild black bears and bald eagles! It was also my first time seeing the sky over the wildfires and honestly it’s more shocking than the mountains…

The speed and efficiency of processing reimbursements by a department’s financial office should also be considered by grad students when accepting an offer. (This is me raging about getting picked at tiniest details and not getting my 1k+ payment that I claimed 2 months ago).
