Richard asked me if I would let his subjects know that his Festival takes place next weekend 5/6 July 10am-5pm at Middleham Castle. You know the small place he lived in at one time. A weekend of immersive history as the York City Levy brings the late 15th century

Circumstances lead to me being on Newcastle Quayside in spring sunshine. Along with the much loved Swing Bridge, my eye was also taken by the old fish market's imposing entrance and the Turnbull building (1888) looking over the river from its viewpoint near the keep 🙂

Loved the Sustainable Clay exhibition at Newcastle Uni's @HattonGallery Lots of intriguing and provoking pieces but the Paul Scott plates were definitely my favourite. I would've wrenched them off the wall to take home if i could 😄
