Volunteering at parkrun is fun! 🤣

Running week started. 5k with hills, then the rest of last night's kedgeree. Now coffee. @RunComPod

So happy with this week's running. Consistency is starting to pay off. This heat though! Phew 🥵 @RunComPod

How's that for post run hydration? The holy trifactor. Coffee (obvs!) water and a smoothie of pineapple, ginger, turmeric, sunflower seeds and one whole, tiny, home grown lime! Bake Off rerun on telly. What a great morning! @RunComPod

I'm so chuffed with completing my first 10k, in I don't know how long. It's taken five months to get back to this from a shuffly 3k. Felt a bit guilt as I listened to @DeeringRob getting to the last 11k of his ultra, while I was cursing my last k of just 10 😆 @RunComPod

Second day running with no headphones (intentionally) No pace notification after each km. So freeing & first sub 35 5k in yonks. Reading Richard Askwith's Running Free. Doubt I'll ditch the watch though #addict @RunComPod

Longish run yesterday, and today is RED137, so thought I'd be tired, yet Garmin informed me "training readiness high" I try not to listen to Garmin. Me thinks that oft, it spoofs. However, today it didn't. The route I ran is hilly and I was faster on the hilly bits! @RunComPod

Major win for me today. An 8k run and it didn't stink! @RunComPod

Decent week of running as I try to get fit again and up my distance slowly. A very successful attempt at kedgeree, inspired by @RunComPod. Used smoked tofu to keep it vegan. Bloody lovely 😋

Well @RunComPod I had to listen again this morning, as I didn't take in a word while I ran my 5 mile race last night. You kept me company, but I was too busy regretting my life choices to listen 😆 Ran 5k to scan at parkrun this morning, then had the all day vegan brekkie.

I've got a five mile race this evening, which will take me about an hour. These will keep me going nicely, thank you @RunComPod

Reading about @Garmin & paid Connect+. What a kick in the teeth to any loyal user, who's bought many a device from them. The so called "free" service will remain? What free service‽ We paid for that by buying the devices. I will be buying a @COROSGlobal next.
