Today was unquestionably one of the saddest days of my life. I lost a dear friend and a brother; the world lost a great champion for the poor, social Justice and health equity. May we live up to the example that Paul exemplified through his life in our own quest for significance.
Devastating loss of a good friend #PaulFarmer since our days at Harvard Medical School, unfathomable loss to humanity. You have indelibly changed the world by your work, you have eternally molded the spirits of your friends. Rest In Peace our social justice warrior.
